    New tires for an Allis B cost as much, or more, than a running Allis B.

    Cutting wire covered propane hose

    Wrap a couple rounds of making tape around it then cut it with thin angle grinder, tape helps keep the wires from fraying Ang unwrapping. Be sure to clean ends and blow out hose afterwards. Look at braided steel hose tutorials on YouTube.

    Rhythmic bumps while moving

    All lugs and rim fasteners to torque. It is there left/ right turning as well as straight. The frequency is faster than wheel rotating speed, if it was a truck I would be thinking driveshaft or pinion. I’ll have to look at a diagram, if brakes are on a bull pinion that could be an option...

    The stock pack is designed to have shims removed as the bearings wear. If the crank is binding it needs shims added. Check that the bearings will still have enough crush to prevent spinning. Best bet is to mic the crank and check for flatness across the journal. Is the problem only on one...

    Old batteries

    2017 Silverado still on original battery. Only has 40k on it so not that many cycles. I try to drive it on a good trip once a month to keep the brakes from rusting and freezing up - again ( did it at 5 years and 28k miles!).

    Tires are beet juice loaded but only going 2-3 mph. Certain it’s not in 4wd. I will see if it is still there in 4wd. Good suggestions and I will do more analysis when I get it out again.
