2023 L4060 200 hrs hydrostatic 4wd w/loader.
Recently developed a ‘rhythmic bump’ while driving. At first I thought it was the normal tire vibration you get with R4’s on pavement. It has been dry here and the clay is like brick. We got some rain, the soil is softer, and I still am getting it.
It becomes noticeable about 1.7mph, really sets in about 2.3 mph, and is there up to 3mph which is about as fast as I ever go. I feel it worse in the steering wheel but can feel it thru the seat. It is speed related as it is roughly the same in low or medium range. Haven’t checked 4wd but suspect it won’t matter, I use 4wd very rarely.
I try not to over stress the loader, and I don’t drive fast or far with heavy loads. As you can see by the hours it does not get a lot of use, and most is mowing or loader work well within its capacity. I have on 3 occasions tried to pick up something buried too deep (cleaning up old equipment graveyard) but quit after 1-2 tries.
Any ideas?
At this point my next diagnostic would be to mark the tires and try to isolate it font to back, and maybe side to side based on wheel speed, if it tracks.
