    Something could be floating around in the fuel tank and getting sucked into the supply line. Then when it dies, it floats back up and unplugs the fuel line.

    1586 engine question

    I think you're right that my block is a replacement. The linked parts books show the 436 and the 466 to use the same block in these applications.

    1586 engine question

    This replacement crankshaft was pulled from a 1486 tractor. Pretty sure that I verified it was the same part number as the one that came out which was ruined by spun rod bearing. But I'm going to check again in the morning.
