    What do you think of these mowers?

    Colin, I got a 6' ford 630 mower with my 8n and it can handle it even up hill as long as the 8n is in good running order. I usaully cut when grass is 6-8" but I don't cut it real short. I do find that I have to be careful of rocks etc. The blades that came with it were crap so I used them...

    Hydraulics question on 860 ford

    851: dry air cleaner conversion

    If you have the original air cleaner I would clean it up and use it that will be close to free. The caked on dirt can be cleaned out the cannister washed up and reused for ever. all it will need is some oil for the oil cup/bath. HTH Dan -- nyc

    Differential

    John, He basically has a 601 with the 40 describing the "package" which is a 4 speed with PTO and 3 point hitch. So any 4 speed parts for a 601 series will work. HTH Dan --nyc
