    Have a 580ck with power shuttle, do I check trans level with tractor running or off?

    I have a 580ck 4 Cyl with a power shuttle trans.This winter it would not move found it had ice in trans. thawed and drained replaced fluid , but still doesn't move and no trans pressure. could use any advice. Thanks Dan

    I have a 580 ck ,last summer the tractor was running fine,this winter I tried to move it.Well it wound not move, no trans pressure so opened top to find ice in power shuttle. warmed up so ice was thawed and drained replaced trans fluid with no success. I"m stumped could use some advice...

    battery not charging

    I have a 580ck battery is not charging. Checked gen by jumping across arm and ground gen spins like a motor replaced voltage reg. polorized and still nothing. Any ideas?

    580 help me out

    Hi case nutty,found the problem with the linkage under steering column,linkage was to short so the cam was going under the shaft instead over the top, adjusted linkage and it works great. Thanks for all your help. Dan

    Hi case nutty,well i have a 1969 580 CK w/4 cyl. the foot throttle works fine,however the hand throttle does not to do anything.It moves freely enough,and i've sprayed the linkage with PB with no luck.If you could help me out it would be great. Thanks Dan
