    Measured on my 981 seat. 4 1/2" to the stop where washer is to end where torsion springs go. Not good explaining sometimes especially after long day. Have same measure on this seat for 871. Everything snug up on 981. This has 1/4" to spare. The spacer is the same on both. Just gonna cut me...

    Trying to upload pics. For the life of me can't figure out why I have 1/4" gap. Measured and measured on 971.4 and a half inches between stop and end of stud.

    Float stuck cylinders were full of fuel

    Flooded out before and took out plugs and dried real good with butane torch. Use pliers!

    Read reviews. Got about 3 hrs. on it. Did the sealing up, which they give you, silicone. What has anybody done for light. Read some stuff on LED lights. Any other mods. Have been on you tube. This will not be used very much. Thanks!

    Carb is dead. not sucking air! Thinking the 91.00 fuel shutoff solinoid. Dropped carb after making a gasket to fit and the barb for fuel line snapped off. ordered new rebuild, which includes bowl. Will see what happens. Going to bypass shutoff

    Well when I pull plug wire off opposite of plug that is wet it dies. The wet plug side it stays running when wire is pulled off. Seems plenty of spark both sides. More spark it seems on side that is wet.

    After searching over the net, I think its on one cylinder. It did run with one wire off yesterday, and one plug was black and wet while the other was grey. Gaps fine. Could be coil i guess.

    Could switch be bad? Also it didnt die or get shut off with blades engaged. Been there before.

    T.R, Let me explain further. Engine stays running when engaged and bogs down then slowly picks up but not quite 100%. Try to mow and hardly any power, but will mow. Drives up hills fine without blades engaged. Man I hope it isnt pricey pto clutch. 350 bucks. Mower is 14 yrs old. Thanks

    Hit pto (blade) and bad. Will mow but just no power. She's 14 yrs. old. Tuchumseh 25 hp v twin. like it is starving for gas. New fuel filter. Took air filter off, which I need, blades, spin freely. Took belt off and engaged pto. not a clue there just engaged, Thanks for any other info or tips...
