    Brake peddles on Cub, A or B

    Anyone have a trick of getting them off? I tried heat and got them to spin on the shaft but can not get them to slide off.

    pan seat repair

    JB Weld will fill the hole but it will not hold the ring in place. I weld mine then smooth with bondo.

    cub hydraulics

    I have a simlar problem on a Super C. The hydraulics will get hot after about 30 min. of operation. I have taken it apart and cleaned everything. I have not been able to find the problem. The book refers to a crack in the housing. Good luck!

    What is a stuck Farmall Cub worth?

    I just bought two in bad shape for $250. One missing sheet metal. Both missing manifolds and carbs. Back tires 3 are fare one trash. However, he had just sold a complete one that was stuck for about $1200. A few years back I bought one with mower and cultivators but not running but not...

    Landscape Angle Iron Trailers – Thoughts?

    Mine is 3" angle with 2 1/2" rail and 2 X wood floor. Hauled JD A, JD MT, Ford 842, Ford 9N Farmall M, Farmall H's with HD bush hogs Farmall A,B,C and Cub. No problem. This week end it will cary 2 Cubs at the same time.

    With the same equipment I don't think there is any differance. Maybe a different style PTO is the only differance I can think of.

    There are at least two types. The early models do not hold as good as the later models. I had to change mine out.

    Ford 600 carb problem

    Since it has been sitting I would guess that the needle in the gas inlet is not seating. You might try tapping on the carb. If it did not happen before the float should be set OK. If this fails you will have to take it apart and replace the needle. If you can get it started before it floods...

    Rebuilding Hyd. cylinders

    Where did you find the seal kits? I priced them for mine and I could buy new cylinders cheaper that the kits. 4 cylinders were going to cost me $500.

    MT retractable steering wheel

    I verified that the locking nut does hold the steel ball in the groves of the extractable shaft. If the lock rings slip the locking nut moves and you lose the ball. This appears what happened to mine.

    How long do you let them sit???

    I usually start to work on them before they get unloaded. 13 tractors, 1 truck, 3 corvette, and about 20 implements.

    Ford 800

    No more than you plan to use it, adding a little oil every now and then should not be of a great concern. It is repairable, but you might have to take the motor out and do it right. Not a big deal but time consuming. It is a lot easier to add oil.

    3000 not running right

    Also may want to look for a air leak. Manifold, gasket, carb shaft, etc. are suspect.
