    Ok, thanks for your input. I will do some homework on the airplane tires and the hardening foam. I think those are my only two choices at this time.. I've walked the entire 2.5 acres and I cannot find any thorns. My concern is it will just happen the next time I run the hog.

    Fergy TO20 governor?

    Oh, the other thing that I noticed is the throttle control (on the steering column), seems to move by itself? Is this normal, I start cutting weeds and 5 mins later I have to increase the throttle again. then 5 mins later again - is that normal or is there an adjustment?
