    Every Year...

I would get that heart checked pronto. I started to have those same problems with humidity and heat last year. Never bothered me before, I did have five stents but never felt like this. Two weeks ago I got a Quad bypass. Despite the recovery aches and pains I feel lots better as to how heat...

    Crack Repair

Have had a small leak for awhile by the bottom of the left axle trumpet. Had replaced gasket serveral years ago and just slowed down the leak. I suspected a crack. Today pulled it apart and yes there is a crack in it. Currently there is an interesting thread about repairing a cracked block. I...

    slow to oil pressure

Only first start up of the day, I use the tractor everyday and start it up multiple times thoughout the day and it will never do it again that day. So it only does it when cold, been sitting overnight. Yesterday it did but today when it fired up had oil pressure almost at the sometime. Might not...

    slow to oil pressure

Not to hijack this thread but my 51 8N seems to do this too. Only it might happen two or three times in a row and then not do it again for serveral start ups. Only does it if it sits over night or a fews days. I know it has no oil pressure because the motor is louder, defintly can hear the...

    I got the plow

I thought you might be a little farther south. I am just south of Chehalis. Good luck with the plow. Hopefully it won't rain so much this year and we all in the Northwest can get a good garden in this year...

    OT Coleman Generator

Actually they only put a minute spray in the carb intake, turn it over till it fires once, then ship it. no gas enters the tank or fuel system. Briggs can turn out 5000 motors per assembly line per shift, no time to fill tanks and empty again. I would think that if it ran only half choke when...

    I got the plow

If you live where I think you do, it never stops rainning here. Waiting to plow me a garden at a place we just bought, but afraid with all this wet sticky clay it would be just one huge mud hole. I am trying hard to wait for drier weather. Have fun learning to plow. It is fun to do and when you...

OT: Husqvarna turns over strongly. Won't start

Always start with the easiest thing first. Change the spark plug. I have seen many shorted/fouled spark plugs do this same exact thing. Run fine one day, backfire the next time/day you go to start it. Change it, don't bother cleanning it, regapping. Just change it.

    Stearing question

I had the same problem until I adjusted the axle one hole wider. Had bigger than nomal ribbed tires on the front too.

    OT Bolt question

Seen this happen many times. Just replace with a 3/8 bolt that is longer and use a flat washer, lock washer or lock nut on the engine side. That is the way it was done before the manufacturers went to the self tapping bolt. Experience shows that you probaly will need to replace all the bolts...

    OT Go cart

I forgot to say no points, Most small engines have been electronic since 1982 or so. Lights are ran from another circuit not from magneto. Has no bearing on how engine runs. Also because engines are ran so lean nowadays some hunting may still occur. Its how they accellerate (no stumble) and run...

    OT Go cart

Clamp off the fuel line. Pull the main jet from the bottom of the fuel bowl. There is a small black colored round gasket on the jet. Make sure the main jet hole in the center of the jet is open. You should be able to blow though it. If not use a small piece of wire and air to open it up. Near...

OT: Vinegar in Ford Taurus radiator (no heat).

As a owner of a 98 Taurus with the same motor. I can tell you that these motors are famous for this. For several years I just back flushed the heater core with a garden hose. Would always spill out a ton of crap and rust. This will work for few years but eventually you will have to replace the...
