630 Rollamatic Spindle
Not too long ago, I bought a complete Roll-O-Matic spindle extension for $300. Not sure where you are located. I just saw that Wengers of Myerstown, PA (717) 866-8424 has a left and right spindle for sale at $150 each. They were advertised under the JD 70 Diesel parts list.- David.DeHart

Does anyone make a bush-hog geared for a 540 RPM PTO?
Please disregard. I jumped the gun and did not read enough before posting. The Woods and JD websites do show rotary cutters geared for a 540 RPM PTO. :oops:- David.DeHart

Does anyone make a bush-hog geared for a 540 RPM PTO?
Does anyone make a bush-hog geared for a 540 RPM PTO or will a 1000 RPM model still work? All of my tractors are antique JDs with 540 RPM PTOs. I am interested in purchasing a new bush-hog, but I am concerned about the gearing. I went to the Woods website, but only saw references to the tractor...- David.DeHart

I should have added, a 4 bolt cap is the heavy duty version and a 3 bolt cap is the standard version knuckle.- David.DeHart

A Roll-O-Matic "Extension, Spindle" PN AA4935R from a JD G, A, 60, and 70 are interchangeable. I did not look up the 20 and 30 series tractors, but I believe the 620, 720, 630, and 730 spindles should also be interchangeable. An "Extension, Spindle" from a JD B and 50 will not work for your...- David.DeHart

If anyone else has pictures of dealer stickers, please post a copy. I intended to make up one for my tractors, but never did. I really like the Stanley Klopp sticker the best, because it included the town and phone number of the dealer. I think the colors complements the green paint also. I saw this one at the JD Days show in Kinzer, PA. If I remember correctly the owner told me it was a reproduction of the original...- David.DeHart

Just answered my own question. I did a Google search and it came back with a foot clutch conversion kit listed on ebay and a post from this forum titled "730 foot clutch?" from 7 Mar 2015.
