    I solved my problem the thrust washer had wore into the snap ring and was hard to understand what needed to be done

    I'm replacing the clutch plates in the PTO which seems to be easily done, now I would like to replace the O rings and I would need some help with that, do I remove that clip ring and remove that gear, is that gear under pressure and needs to be compressed? Am I overlooking anything?

    All the parts are new, yesterday I removed some of the free play on the pedal I now have a half inch if that doesn't solve my problem I will do what is mentioned above, remove all free play. And no hydraulic clutch. Thanks to everyone, David

    I recently installed a new clutch on my IH 674, it works very well when tractor is cold, once it warms and been in use for a while it then will gradually quit releasing getting so bad that I sometimes have to shut engine off to get it out of gear. Any help appreciated, David

    Lube pump

    Thanks Pete, tried tapping on pump with hammer and it didn't move. The screw I removed had allen head and was pointed on other/upper end, will try looking in hole again.

    I have Int. 784, I am trying to replace lube pump in lower compartment, I'm at the point where I need to remove two screws that secure pump, manual says remove two screws in bottom of rear frame which secures pump, I found one hole and I did remove one screw, is there another screw in same hole...

    I have a 784 Diesel that is belching up water, (out of radiator with ten pound cap) temp. gauge scale lets say 9 to 3 on clock, needle reads 10-11, gauge works fine. this is with 8 ft. disk running in L-4 at 1500 rpm If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in...
