still fixing the 3600, went through the gauges, cleaned out the rat nest have all lights and gauges working fine except temp. the temp gauge pegs hot when grounded at the sender, but at operating temp would barely move up about a 1/4 of an inch. so i figured it must be the sender. put a new... -

i changed the fuel filter out in the fall on the 3600. and flushed the tank out, filled up with diesel... pulled tap a couple of times. put fresh diesel and a can of BK injector cleaner. used that tank up with no problems. when I tanked up again with fresh diesel my tap got clogged after about... -

JC, i bought a dexta worse shape than that, put about 3500 in it as a project/new rebuild,etc. , it still runs great but, still has worn steering box, and more new leaks after 250 hours of use. i use a 6ft on it, but have to go very slow, it just barely handles it. i'd wait and bump up a size... -

delco exciting trick
the alt charges great, touched the 1 to the bat for a sec when running, checked voltage and it was charging. went ahead and ran the bulb wiring, got it all taped up, works great! thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!! -

i need to test a delco alternator, i have no lamps or such to link terminal 1 to to excite the alternator into charging. is there anything i can touch it to on the tractor to excite the alternator? jump it anywhere just to see if the alt is good?, then i'll fix something up better if it works... -
