    540 Hesston

    Well in my case,it was bad enough to jam all the belts. The hay was 1st cutting and about 3ft tall. I think that had alot to do with it! I made some adjustments before the season,maybe Iwill revist the manual, Think there is a wear plate that might be wore out,or at least in rough shape.Thank you!

    4x4 Round Balers JD vs Hesston

    I have a 540, this year 1st cutting was very tall.The hay wanted to wrap around between the roller and belts,about every 3rd bale, not sure why. Other than that it has been a good baler.Anybody have ideas that would cause it to do that?

    Was looking at a small a round baler, But noticed that it had 4 hyd hoses. Since the tractor only has 2 connecting ports,what would be a quick & easy fix?
