    OT Can any one tell me if the 239 CID Flathead V8 100 HP had a side dist or was it a front mount dissy? They put this engine the 1948 F1 Ford Pick-up. My Father had one in 1958 that I drove when older. It had 3 speed floor shift which I assume was considered hevy duty? Cannot remember...

    Excessive Charging 53 NAA UPDATE

    Ok guys Started Tractor this A.M. charge rate was Normal Pulled around 20 amps. dropped back to approx. 4-5, Loaded Gen. by turning on all lights,throttle set at 900 Charging went to approx. 25 amps. dropped back to 15 and stayed there. Tapped VA with hammer handle amps. dropped to 4-5...

    Excessive Charging

    53 NAA appears to be charging excessively? After Brush Hogging for about 20 minutes amp meter started showing a charging rate of almost 30 amps. Turned on all lights and rate fell after about 4-5 minutes to around 20. The battery is in good condition and will start the tractor after setting...

    Removing varnish from gas tank

    M E K will do it but make sure no seals are involved. Running Auto Gas instead of 100 octane Avgas and letting it set usally will cause this. If a Carb is involved be extremly careful with the MEK.

    Thanks Ultra 4,500 New paint,which covers a lot!! Wanted to look it over real close. Guy calls me back yesterday and tells me its sold. He had a price on it as 5,500 and when I called he told me it 4500, smelled a rat somewhere!

    Jubilee front wheel wobble Update

    Update to my Jub. wobbling. Put toe of right boot against tie rod when the wheel started to wobble,as Soundguy suggested, it immediately stopped. Drag link,steering backlash or something else? Great troubleshooting Soundguy! Where do we go from here?
