    MF35 Hydraulics

Yeah, that’s a good point. I always drop attachments before walking away for that safety reason. Anyhow, I picked up The Massey Ferguson 35 Tractor Workshop Service Manual by Chris Jaworski Found it on Amazon. Lots of good info and pictures.

    MF35 Hydraulics

I ordered this one from someone selling with the same photo on eBay. Description said it?s a reprint of the original. Seller had pictures of a few pages and the photos look ok from what I could tell.

    MF35 Hydraulics

Thanks, David. I adjusted that a few years ago after replacing the cylinder and it would lift an implement ok. But drop right away and quickly after shutting down. Never had it quite right, but it worked. Perhaps some wear now and it requires a more precise adjustment. Perhaps I can get it...

    MF35 Hydraulics

My MF35 has rear-end hydraulic fluid seeping out the relief valve on the left front of the lift cover. And the lift arms raise without an implement, but not with one attached. The lift had raised fine for some years after I replaced the pump and cylinder. Though it always dropped quickly after...

    MF-35 3-Point

The three point hitch on my MF-35 raises when there’s no implement hooked up. But cannot raise an implement. Just raising and lowering the empty arms causes oil to come out the relief valves on the top cover near the oem 2-lever control valve. I’ve read the shop manual, but don’t quite...

    IH 2A Hay Crimper

I just picked up an IH 2A Hay Crimper. I see where a hydraulic cylinder would attach, but not sure how it would mount into the slot on the tongue end of the cylinder. Doesn't look like a pin would hold the cylinder in place. Also, can I use it manually without a cylinder? Thanks, Dan

    Shipping How-to?

Can anyone give me a general overview of how shipping works with a reverse auction freight company or standard freight broker? I have posted already to the hauling schedule, but am also wanting to check these other options. Not sure how they work. In this case it's only two tractor rear...

JD Sickle Mower No 8 and New Idea Hay Crimper

Thx, Bob, for the diagrams and everybody else for the comments. Once I knew what to look for did found a lot of images on google for mowers 37 and 38 and new holland. I only have about 10 acres and looking for a reasonable altenative to putting more money into my oversized and almost entirely...

JD Sickle Mower No 8 and New Idea Hay Crimper

I talked to a gentleman today who used to pull a pto driven New Idea Hay Crimper hooked to the back of a JD #8 Sickle Mower. He said the mower had a small hitch and the pto shaft came from the tractor to the mower and on through to the hay crimper. All one continous line of PTO power. Anyone...
