    Dean.....would mine explaining this statement? JD or MF cornhead grease is the easiest solution for leaking Ford steering boxes because it can be easily installed with a lever action grease gun but it is not the best lubricant. don b1

    radiator bolts (dimensions)

    ULTRA.....please explain.On an 8n radiator,the carriage bolts protrude down thru the axle support with the pad between the bottom of the radiator and the support.There is supposed to be a flat washer,lock washer and nut on the bottom side of the axle support to secure the radiator.Don't see how...

    If in fact you you have the original 2n radiator......the bolts were 7/16-14 .94 long hex head bolts along with a lock washer and rubber pad. The bolting was as Dell says for the 8n radiator. don b1

    9N VOLTAGE REGULATOR OR CUTOUT?

    It depends on which one of your serial numbers you use. The early 9n's did indeed use a voltage regulator with two posts and later converted to the cut-out.The 9n 10505a regulator was used with the small 9n10000a generator.Can you post a pic of what you have. don b1
