    Hydraulic remotes

It does help. I've ordered the tipped ones you have described so I'm certain now I've chosen the right ones. Thanks.

    Hydraulic remotes

This is the remote set up. The opening on the female coupler is about .935. Down inside where the nipple is looks to be about 5/8 " or larger.

    Hydraulic remotes

I'm wanting to use the hydraulic remotes on my 1959 881.I need the male half (poppet valve) to use on the implement hose. The parts manual gives the P/N as D3NN8964A which brings up nothing when searching online. Can someone tell me what size the valve is? Tried measuring the female half and it...

    SOS oil migration

I found the Napa p/n for the switch. It's only $14 so I'll go ahead and replace it. You suggestion is good though.

    SOS oil migration

Actually the lube pressure switch does not work and I plan on replacing it. I have looked in the parts manual and searched in these forums but can't find a part number for the switch even though I remember seeing it in this forum. Can someone give me a part number?

    SOS oil migration

x I do use the same oil in all three sumps. If I run the tractor long enough, it would empty the trans sump and over fill the hydraulic sump. I wouldn't want to use the tractor with little or no oil in the trans.

    SOS oil migration

Early this spring I damaged the splines on the intermediate PTO shaft on my 881. Just wasn't thinking. I got a replacement shaft and the necessary gaskets and o rings. Split the tractor, replaced it and reassembled. Everything works just fine. Since I don't use the tractor much it was only...

    Pto seal

The pto shaft does have a little noticeable wear on the contact area. Not familiar with a Speedi sleeve but I will look into it. Thanks

    Pto seal

Replaced the pto seal in my 1959 Ford 881. The new seal is not nearly as good as the old one. The old one had two lips to seal around the shaft and the new only has one. The new one didn't last long and now leaks worse than the old one ever did. Any suggestions on a good pto oil seal to use...

This is my first tractor so I'm learning as I go but to have a forum like this and to be able to tap into the knowledge of people who have been there and done that is of immeasurable value
