    Back in bidness - new hubs installed

    Thanks for responding on my post earlier about my '52 8N hub. I was able to make the left side axle take the new hub with no probs - plenty of shoulder space for the axle. The right side hub still had splines - but it slid too far in on the axle. So I replaced that hub too. No shims needed...

    how can northern tools compete against harbr freight?

    Yea, I have one. Works OK, but I can trip a 30 amp breaker if I overload it. Forget about full loads. I usually throw in one 80lb bag of Sakrete in with a couple shovelfuls of 3/4 gravel and about 3/4 gallon of water, then mist the drum with water until it mixes up. Anything more will dog it...

    From low spark to no spark , $90 later...

    Here is a better image of the coil connections. This is the 3 ohm 12v coil that came with the Just 8N's 12v negative ground conversion kit, and it tested fine at 3 ohms this afternoon. Since the tractor was running most of this summer, I'm fairly certain it is not a coil problem. Doug in east TN
