    4020 oil pan

Here's the deal-I have a '64 4020 with an M & W turbo currently apart. I'm thinking of replacing the original 2 gallon oil pan. I believe the console 4020's were 3 gallon? Am I correct, and if so does a newer pan fit? Or is my only option the M &W pan?

    Buying tools off Amazon

My son told me if he wants to buy a tool from Amazon he will look at the seller and go to the Seller's home page. Many times he can get the same tool the seller lists on Amazon for less. I haven't done that yet, have you?

    Ford 3000 Steering

I honestly don't know how I've been able to steer my 1966 3000, given what I've found. No wonder it's been steering easier to the right lately, and that left turning has been getting more difficult. I'm going to try to attach 4 images. Steering failed on me earlier today (never a good time...

Farmall 300/350 rearend on a Farmall Regular H?

Would that work? As of now just curious, but well see. Were going to restore an H and if the Rearend is toast, its be temping to gain the TA. And would the live pto work? How is that hooked up? Thx. Probably would just put an h rear in if so, however some more knowledge gained is always fun

    perfect easy out.

Again I had to drill something out. This time it was a main jet in a small engine carburetor. I use a torx bit of appropriate size. Drove it in and it comes right out.this was o ly brass but have used it on steel. It is amazing.

You HAVE GOT to see this!

I seen the pics and I just dont see how the rail car supports the weight of the hoe. I load these highside cars daily and the sides are not that strong ! You can see the side bow out as you load them. I hope the operator has good life insurance!!!! Doug

    1030 Case or 1800 Oliver

Well Ive had both tractors, and being mostly a Case fan this is my opinion.Case 1030 tractors are good in the field working ground etc. But for hay making , I would take an Oliver. But I would stay away from the 1800. I have a 1850 with the 354 Perkins in it and it is the best all around tractor...

    help with type of paint

Yes thats right! I always try to use dealer paint and primer on tractors and show piece equipment. Even my "field " tractors have the better paint on them. TSC paint is ok for a plow or other field equipment that will see hard use. Just my 2 cents worth!!!!

    hardner question

I have found that Valspar hardner works well with many enamal paints. Case IH ,Ace hardware, Rustolium, and Tractor supply. Our local TSC handles Valspar paint and hardner.
