hardner question

[old fashioned farmer]

Howdy,

Gettin close to painting on this farmall C I'm restoring and was wondering if anyone knows or would suggest a hardner that's compatible with CaseIH paints. I'll be using the old 2150 paint. Thanks and God bless.

I have found that Valspar hardner works well with many enamal paints. Case IH ,Ace hardware, Rustolium, and Tractor supply. Our local TSC handles Valspar paint and hardner.

Case IH paints are made by Valspar. I've seen the hardener at my local dealer. You can also get the hardener ad JD they use Valspar paint also.

The CaseIH dealer should have the hardener at the store. They did when I needed paint for my Farmall H.

i use napa 576 gloss plus hardener. it is economical and it works great with 2150.

How about a mix ratio for hardner to paint? The cans at CIH dont tell you anything on them.
