    I want to listen where the tinny noise is coming from, so I’m concerned about getting underneath with the rear wheels spinning. I can’t tell where the nois is coming from while driving the tractor.

    Adjustable fan belt sheave on 53 Super H

    I have a 53 Super H with a cracked fan belt sheave. I?m thinking about changing the entire water pump as a new sheave comes with a new water pump. I?m not sure how to remove the fan or the sheave or the water pump for that matter. Do I need to remove the hood and front cowl? Thanks.

    Slight miss on 53 Super H

    I have a slight miss in my 53 Super H. I can hear it through the exhaust pipe and is present at both an idle and higher RPM?s. The tractor is recently tuned and has just had the head replaced due to antifreeze in the oil. I don?t think there is anything going on with the new head. Coil possibly?

    Starter for 53 Super H

    Smoke rolled out of the starter on my 53 Super H. The tractor was converted to 12 volt before I bought it so I don?t know if the starter was a 6 or 12 volt. Anyway, can the starter be rebuilt? If it can?t, can I find a 12 volt starter for it?

    Antifreeze In oil on 53 Super H

    Well, I just confirmed there is antifreeze in the oil, not a lot but it?s there. So, I?m guessing the head gasket or the head itself. Any thoughts?

    water/antifreeze in oil (small amount)

    Just dropped the oil plug today and confirmed it is antifreeze. I?ll be removing the head and checking the head gasket and for a cracked head. No additives will fix that.

    The liquid that came out was just when I first removed the oil plug. The oil was not milky colored at all.

    The liquid landed on a piece of cardboard. The antifreeze in the tractor is a red color. I really couldn't tell if it was clear or had a red tint.
