    IH-1000 loader issues

    We just installed a Ih-1000 loader on my dads Super A. It works ok but the pump is getting hot hot you can"t touch it and you can smell it and it got hot enough to burn the grease and grim off. the loader is hooked up the same as the one on my Farmall 100 but this one used to be on a farmall...

    Wade. I think you are talking about that steel wool type that is on the fill cap, it dont need changed very often unless it fills up with crud from engine having too much blow by. Ther is another one on the valve cover that is very similar. I just wash mine out with carb cleaner and blow them...
