Ford 3600 pto wont stay engaged

I have a Ford 3600 that the pto jumps out gear when I'm brush hogging. Where is the best place to start? I read it might be a snap ring. If you grab the pto shaft it has some play in and out.

PTO length for a TA7 on a VAC

Was it on your SC? I have a TA-7 I'm going to put on my SC but I don't have the tractor portion of the hitch. I was wondering if you could post a picture and/or give me some dimensions so I can fabricate a hitch. I have the original operators manual and the TA-7 mower hitch connection manual...

    3600 3 pt trouble

I recently got a 3600 that had been sitting in a barn for about 10 years, when I got it started the 3pt arms raised all the way up and it sounds like the hydraulics are under load. I got a service manual and everything in the troubleshooting talks about if the lift won't raise but there isn't...

    Ford 3600 3 pt

What do I need to do to access the spools, are they on the side of the transmission? This is the first Ford I've owned so I'm not too familiar with them yet.

    Ford 3600 3 pt

I just got a 3600 that had been sitting in a barn for about 10 years. I changed fluids and filters and got it started. When I started it the first time the lift arms came all the way up and the hydraulics sound like they are under a load and the arms won't go back down no matter where the...

    Hesston 1070 manual

I bought a Hesston 1070 haybine today and I was wondering where I could find a manual. Also what are the good and bad with this machine?

    Which haybine?

I was leaning toward the Hesston anyway, plus it is $650 cheaper than the New Holland, I think I'm going to go ahead and give it a try.

    Which haybine?

I'm looking at two haybines, a Hesston 1110 and a New Holland 474, what are the pros and cons of each machine?

    54 DC clutch

I have a 54 DC and the clutch won"t full disengage, when I first got the tractor running the clutch was stuck. I got it freed up and have been using it for light jobs like mowing, raking and pulling a square baler. I have it fully adjusted on the linkage and it still won"t disengage when the...

Need Knotter Frame Needles for NH 273 Baler

All States Ag Parts has needles $100 each shipped to you, Fry's Farm Salvage should have knotter frame, might also check eBay, I found a complete knotter for $200. Check your needle yoke to make sure it's not bent, I had to replace mine when I broke my needles this spring, same thing happened...

    OT 6.0 powerstroke problems

My 05 Ford diesel had a failing egr cooler that I put off too long too long and it finally quit. I started the truck and drove about a half mile, shut it off, came back a couple hours later to head home and clunk, wouldn't crank, I was parked on an incline and the cooler leaked coolant into the...

    276 knotter one more time

This baler is about to drive me crazy, the left hand knotter ties perfect every time but the right side makes a knot with very short tails and as soon as the twine gets tight the knot comes undone. I've adjusted the knife arm travel to be 1/2" past bill hook on both sides, I cleaned out the hay...
