    Antique Power Show

    I posted on the Case forum a few days ago. Had questions about a Case 212 chopper. I did not get it ready for the show. But, we are featuring Case next year. So I hope to have it ready by next year. I did, however, do some chopping with my John Deere 12 chopper. I will try to post a video.

    212 chopper again

    So I got the windrow head off and the direct cut head on. The problem I have is that the pto shaft that drives the cutter bar is too short. I dont know if I am missing a part. I would really appreciate it if someone could post a picture of how the drive shaft is mounted.

    When turning the cutter by hand, every knife clearance looks good near the shaft, but on the outside each knife just touches the shear bar. Do I have to adjust each knife or can I adjust the pillow block bearing on the backside to gain the clearance I need?

    My Case hobby

    casecollectorsc, I know you have a lot of case equipment. Are manuels still available for a 212? I have some questions about this chopper. I went to a sale in Kansas that had a combo picker/chopper on it. Sold for I think 2200 dollars. A little out of my budget.
