    Farmall 656 Starter

I am having a problem with the ignition system on my diesel 656. When I tried to start it last, I hooked the battery up, and the engine started turning over until I unhooked the battery. The key was off, and I wasn't pushing the start button. I've unhooked both the key and the push button to see...

    International 186

I am looking at buying a 186 Hydro, and I was wanting to see what everyone thought about this tractor. The transmission has been completely rebuilt. Would anyone know how long (how many hours) a transmission typically lasts in one of these? Thanks for the help.

    Farmall H Magneto

The cap that I used to test it was off of a well running tractor, so I don't really see how it could be the cap. The rotor is also brand new.

    Farmall H Magneto

I am working on getting a spark out of my Magneto for an H, but I am having a few problems. When I just put the wire coming out of the top cap of the distributor on a plug it has a great blue spark, but when I put the wire into the distributor cap, I can't seem to get any spark at all. The...

    Oliver 5 Cornpicker

Hi, I recently got an Oliver Number 5 cornpicker that is an good working order other than one broken pulley. I am looking to replace the pulley, and was wondering where I might look for one, or if anyone might have this pulley to sell. I have pictures of the gear, but I can't upload them. Thanks...

    F 12

Hi, I recently got an F 12 that was unlocked and had been sitting inside for a while. I went to try to pull start it and found out that the clutch won't disengage the transmission when I push the pedal in. Is this an easy fix, or will I have to tear into the clutch to fix it? Thanks

    International 3288

How do you go about taking the 1000 RPM seal from the outside? The 1000 is the only one that is leaking. The only way I can see to get it out would be to drive it out from the inside. Thanks

    International 3288

Hi, I have an International 3288 that has a PTO that leaks. I was wondering how big of a job this would be to replace these two seals. Is it the same idea as an H and M? Thanks

    Oilver Hart Parr 70

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might know of the value for an Oliver Hart Parr 70. It is on full steel with an older paint job. The Sheet metal is in very good condition, and the engine side curtains are on it. The owner said it ran when he parked it inside a few years ago, but he couldn't get it...

    Farmall 656

Hi, I just started working on my Grandpa's 1968 Diesel 656. My dad parked it about fifteen years ago due to injector pump problems, and a problem with the gear shift sticking in a particular gear. It has sat for the entire time while stuck in gear. I can get the tractor into neutral, but a I...

    International 3488 MFWD

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might know how many 3488's were made with the MFWD. I know there were only a little over four hundred made with 2wd, but I wasn't sure how much more rare this option was. Does anyone know if this is a nice tractor for chore work, such as hauling hay, working...

    Distributor

If the only problem is timing the new magneto I think I can manage, I just wasn't sure if the wiring needed to be changed or not. How do I wire the new kill switch?

    Distributor

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if a Farmall H distributor can be replaced with a Magneto. I haven't ever had a distributor off, but the connections look exactly the same. Thanks for the help.

    John Deere 50

Hi, my friend has a 50 John Deere that hasn't run in a while and has sat out for a long time. The radiator cap has broken off at some point, and can't a replacement can't be bought to put on the tractor without fixing the broken metal that came off with it. Does anyone know how much work would...
