Kewanee 750 disk
i purchased what I think is a Kewanee model 750 disk. looking for an operator's manual. See 700 series on Ebay. is the 750 part of the 700 series or would the 700 series be older models of disk? thanks,- farmerjack

2 cylinder ROPS
the rear axles on two cylinders aren't strong enough to take the full rated load. Also, ROPS is only good if you have a seat belt on to keep you in the zone. I would say leave it off or upgrade to a new gen with a proper ROPS.- farmerjack

Classification as Iron Horse?
Jim I know when Deere sold the 4440 design to a firm in China, they called it the iron bull I believe. had one on site at Des Moines Works for a while.- farmerjack

953 running gear
I have a 953 running gear with W-14020 hubs on it which shows for the newer gear. is there anyway knowing which seal, cups and cones I need to get outside of taking it apart. not sure if it will need different seal and bearings due to the hub/ spindle combination vs what is in the part catalog...- farmerjack

1971 4320 lost hydraulics
once in a great while my steering would feel as though the steering wheel was locked for a second. going down the road last week. all of the sudden it locked and then lost hydraulics as 3 pt and brakes didn't work either. as I was trying to get home I would be able to turn the steering...- farmerjack

JD 350 sickle bar do not paint?
never want paint in critical bolted joints. paint can squeeze and the bolt loses its stretch (clamp load) and the joint becomes loose.- farmerjack
