    New 5 D and 5 E series engines ?

    They have been great tractors so far. Simple and basic, very similar to 5000 series. We have sold a pile of them, only issue has been clutch pedal stop which should now be fixed on every one that had issue. 5000 were known for cluth issues but only because nobody ever seemed to check clutch...

    3020 m&w turbo

    Does anybody know of anywhere to get parts for these. Im needing turbo gaskets and possibly the exhaust elbow. Does/has anybody every had a 3020 with turbo. The exhaust seems like its gonna be awfully close to dash maybe making it pretty warm. Thanks!

    I remember reading a caption under a pic that a member had sent in green magazine and they talked about installing a "bypass" valve in the power trol system. This valve allowed the rockshaft and scv valve to be operated at the same time for applications such as a semi-mount plow. Does anybody...

    Don't buy it! Unless it goes from about 3000 its not worth it and having a bad axle makes it worth less. You would be luckey to get 70hp outta it. The engines are one of the worst designs and are known for smokin. I don't believe they ever had a gas model. The transmission aren't any better...

    4020 repo fenders

    A&I has nice fenders for the price. Have put a couple sets on and they were almost as good as oem's. They came with grommets also. Any deere deelership can get them and most of there part numbers are the same as deere's with the addition of A-

    4320 overhaul

    Be careful of the piston cooling nozzles when pulling out the culinder packs. You just need to be aware of them so you dont nick or damage them.

    553 loader attachments

    [/img] First be sure that fork is tight in upper lip (btm pic) If that is tight like pic then grind down like top pic. Deere says that the forks or other attachments arent made correctly. Ive had them tell me to warrenty a brand new bucket, of course that usually ends up coming out of dealers...

    Have had this problem many times. Deere solution is to check and see if "lip" of quick attach on forks is wide enough for loader to fit in, may need ground down. If thats ok the btm area of loader quick attach needs to be ground down. I will try to post picks tmr.

    My grandfather has an old john deere crawler with the gm diesel engine in it like a 435. Does anybody know if this is orginal and what model it would be?

    1964 John Deere Diesel Injector Pump Rebuild

    Dont even mess with it. Its gotta go to a pump shop. It only takes a spec of dirt to distroy a pump plus it has 2 be calibrated on a special machine.

    JD 1050 cranking problems

    Sounds like fuel might be draining back to tank or still air in fuel filter housing. Check all lines for cracking. Make sure fittings and clamps are tight. It doesnt have to leak fuel to suck air.
