    i never had that problem before, i just used the original seal from tht kit, might look at the seal area on the crankshaft, might have a ruff spot on the crank.

    Matt, you can tell if your tractor is 6 volt or 12 volt by looking at the gen, if it has one, that would be most likly 6 volt, an alt, is 12 volt and you can tell if your battery is 6 or 12 volt by how many cells in the battery, 2 volts per cell, 3 cells is 6 volt 6 cells 12 volt, and checking...

    15-40 Motor oil in Allis G Tractor?

    BAW, i would only use sae 30 in an older type gas engine, it might be ok to use 10w40, but in a rebuilt gas engine 15w40 would be ok, but never put 15w40 in a gas engine with lots of hours, the reasion i say this is because, the gas engine with lots of hours will clean out, the oil will loosen...

    WD runs rough

    could be dirt or water in the carb, i have a tractor just that and cleaned the carb out ant replaced the gaskets, and adjusted the carb and now runs good..

    matt Aw 32 is just fine to use in your tractor, the only tools other than engine repair might be 1&1/8 socket and wrench for the hitch.
