    I put a kit in the carb, soaked it overnight in cleaner, blew out all the holes and put in the kit, pre set the adjustment screws, and she fire right up. Screwing in the Idle jet has no effect on the running of the engine........What am I missing?

    Good quality parts?

    Where do y'all get good quality parts. I recently bought a tune up kit for my 9N. Was not impressed with the quality. Distributor cap didn't fit well, neither did the rotor. Autolite 85 plugs? parts just "felt cheep.

    Last couple of times I used my 9N for mowing I noticed it was not Running quite up to snuff. Went to adjust the carb and noticed turning the air fuel screw made no change in the running.     Radiator Questions

    While it is ugly I see no sign of leakage, so I've decided to straighten out the fins, clean it up, paint it. I'll replace the thermostat an give it a go. The old if it aint broke don't fix it....... New water pump is installed and I'll check the fan for straight. Stay tuned. Thanks for the info.

    Do ya'll run thermostats in your N tractors? I'm in Oregon, tractor gets little to no use in the winter.

    Long story short, time to replace the water pump. While apart noticing that my radiator is in sad shape. In looking at radiators on the net I'm noticing a difference in my radiator and what they are selling. Mine has a very large "Tank" type top. What do I have here? Second who sells the best...
