Well I have found out that the bulge in the clutch does infact face the flywheel., It will come in contact with the PTO shaft if turned twords the pressure plate. I have also found that the clutch does release. If I put the trans in high fourth (8th) hear the engine turns with the clutch out... -

I have a 5030 Ford New Holland with an 8x8 trans. Was bush hogging and the PTO quit and loud squeal started. Sounded like maybe the hydraulic pump so I changed the one under the right side step. 7710 Ford remote quick connect
I have a 7710 Ford tractor when I plug into the remote quick connect it leaks around the pioneer fittings. I have removed an o-ring that is so hard it feels almost like plastic. The o-ring doesn't match exactly to anything I have in Metric or SAE. I can't find the o-ring in the book either... -

265 Massey Ferguson steering
You was 100% right I took the cylinder apart. There was bad seals and scoring inside the tube. Just replaced the whole thing and it drives better than it ever has. Thanks for the help- fordman81

I replaced the lines because the rubber portion was leaking and the pump because it was hard to turn at idle. But since replacing the pump I have noticed the play in the steering a lot more. Do you know if they still make a rebuild kit for the orbital valve? I was told that you can no longer...- fordman81
