Pertroix Ignition
I installed a pertronix ignition on my 1952 8 N . I used a pertronix flame thrower coil , autolite 437 spark plugs gapped at 0.30 and didn't change the plug wires . The tractor acts like it is running on two cylinders . Any help would be appriciated . Thanks- fran213

The Sherman transmission will shift into high range and neutral. It will not shift into low range or standard range .- fran213

I have a 641 with a step up step down sherman transmission . I had the sherman apart for a leaking input shaft seal and replaced bearings and races while I was in there . The sherman shifts fine on the work bench . It only has high gear ( step up ) when in the tractor . I did shim it when I...- fran213

641 grill attacing parts
I bought a new set of dog legs for the hood of my 641 . they did not come with the holes for the grill mounting stud . Is this a seprate part or is it supposed to come with the dog legs -

clutch disc
Does anyone know where I can get a quality clutch disc ? I bought one from this site and am afraid to put it in the tractor. There isn't much material on it at all before you get to the rivets . Thanks in advance !- fran213
