    Everyone covered everything pretty much, you will not find anything that will out lug the case engines, they have the torque you need for pulling and very efficient on diesel fuel.     766 diesel engine problems.

    The very thing happened to my 1466 and it was the oil cooler. I would definely check that first before doing anything drastic, that could possibly fix the problem. FE

    1070 strottle problems fixed

    Dad and I fixed our problems our 1070 was having with the linkage to the injector pump. The engine was running rough as though the Pump was "jumping" and not running smooth at all. The problem was the rigid linkage to the injector pump was moving with the cab when it would move, replaced the cab...

    CASE 400, 700, 800, 900 Front Bolster Measurement

    I don't know if the lenths are different, but I put a bolster off of a 930CK with a wide front end on a early model 830. The one off the newer model tractor is built heavier and it bolted right up to it no problem. FE

    3020 JD question

    As for the syncro range transmissions, you can't beat them in the 20 series tractors even through the bigger the tractor, the harder they were to shift. We had 2- 5020's and they had long handles and were hard to shift than the ones with short shift handles. Just a thought. FE

    Ah, yea it was, I remember stopping every morning at the gas station with daddy and filling up the tank on the back of the pickup to fill it up just for that combine, but it sure would get a lot of work done in those days, sounded good too. FE
