    Does anyone know where I can find a tiller for a 40/49 cub in the Savannah, Ga. area?

    3000 Carb removal reinstall

    I took a 11/16" 12 point, ($.99 at the bargain bin) bent it 90 deg about 2 in down, cut a 3/8" gap at about 4 o'clock (made a tubing wrench out of it). This helped my old artheritic fingers and reduced my cussing tremendously.

    Holley flooding

    I rebuilt my Ford 2000 carb (Holley) and found three things wrong. The accl pump plunger was frozen and had to be freed, the float was out of spec, and the gasket for the accl pump was not the right one. Be sure ALL of the gasket ports are open. I freed the accel pump plunger by chucking it...

    check the connection at the solenoid. I had the same problem.

    Noisy starter

    My 1969 Ford 2000 (Gas) makes a noise (like grinding corn) when I try to start it. After it starts the noise disappears. I have dissambled, cleaned and reassembeled the starter and found nothing wrong. Anybody ever had this problem?

    Ford 2000 Skipping popping

    I have a 1969 Ford 2000 w/3 cyl engine. It only cranks with the accelerator on idle, and it skips and pops when accelerated and under load. Runs good for a while and then it skips and pops. Will a weak battery cause this?
