    Friend sent me this picture. 986 with the narrow mains. Wholes dont line up for the two smaller gallerys. Is this an issue??? They blocked off with steel balls.

    part# R76333, its a self taping screw used on jd radios and speakers in cabs. does anyone know if there is a longer version of this .19 x 11/2 screw. i put new speakers in but need longer 2 inch screws.

    gotta pull my 4450 powershift apart and rebuild the C1 / C2 as well as C lo and B hi. book says to use the 303 service tool do get the springs off. but its not available. does anyone happen to know if the jdg754 tool for the 6000-7000 series will work??

    M&W Turbo filter

    Anyone know where a guy can get a filter wrap decal for the M&W turbo oil filters? I just bought a 4020 with the turbo and oil pan on it. I know the original filters are pretty much extinct. Mine has 4E023 for a filter # and is orange.

    JD paint Hardner

    Painting a 3020. Using the JD paint, but ran out of the Valspar VEN3001 hardner. Looks like its been discontinued. What would be a good subtitute for the paint Hardener?

    3020 hoods

    i have a early 3020 that we are gonna paint. hood is all dented up, has a couple of holes cut in it where someone cut off a muffler bracket. are there any aftermarket hoods that are of good quality if i decide to go that route?? if i cant find anything good ill probably spent some serious time...

    I have an early 3020. Needs a new hood. Also needs a muffler. Can I get that late series hood and buy an oval muffler and then the hood will fit or are they not interchangeable?? I can do away with the air cleaner pipe.

    john deere 3020 diesel. is it ok to coat the head gasket with copper sealant before installing?? just want some insurance on this old girl. bought new head bolts so i dont have to worry about those. not a tractor we know much about. head went to the machine shop.

    I have a 3020 we put a roll a matic on it. the roll a matic is off of a jd 70 im trying to figure out what size tires and rims will look best on it. rears are 16.9 x 34. im thinking 6.50 x 16 or 7.50 x 15 would look best but not sure how tall those tires are on rims. the 70 front end had a 6.00...
