    My last night of work

    Congratulations! Im no where near retiring (29), but my dad retired last year (Sept), and he is a completely different person. Said that outside of marrying my mom it was the best thing that ever happened to him.

    Buy new or rebuild?

    Keep it! There is a reason there holding/gaining value. After you shell out 40 to 50k for your new truck you have to crack the piggy bank again to do all the deletes (egr, egr cooler, dpf, etc) to get it to run halfway as good as your 5.9. And after all this you still wont get as good mileage...

    Dont have any kids, but yesterday Mom+Dad handed my wife a b-day card with a thousand dollars in it, back in sept they paid the same amount towards a baby grand piano for my b-day. Thats how my folks handled it, and in my very biased opinion there pretty much always right.
