    Case IH 485 Hydraulic problems

This morning I pulled up the filter off, checked both o’rings on the housing of the tractor and on the bolt. Both were fine, filter and screen are fine. Reinstalled making sure o’ring was in its groove. The pto will only turn if you rev the engine, removed the clutch inspection cover and the hub...

    Case IH 485 Hydraulic problems

I am helping my neighbor with a 1988 Case IH 485 that he just purchased. When he got it the 3 point hitch was slow to go up. He said he would raise the lever, it would take 5-10 seconds for it to raise. The hydraulic fluid was milky so he changed the fluid and the filter on the side of the...

    Massey Ferguson 4253 again

I have a 4243 with what I think is the factory radio. It has the 4 holes in the front of it to use the older Ford radio removal tools, just 2 u shaped pieces. Try to post a link.

    Chevy 'crump' update

I’ve worked on some of years trucks and SUV’s with a creaking noise on acceleration and braking. Turned out to be the crossmember bolts for the transmission or the crossmember one under oil pan will loosen up slightly and start making noise. Have them check and make sure they are good and tight.

    4225 MASSEY FERGUSON TRACTOR

My dad bought a 4243 about 15 years ago. Has probably 3,500 hours on it now. Been a good tractor, only repairs I remember doing on it other than maintenance is replacing both rubber brake lines and put a new seal in the front of the a/c compressor. Great engine and good on fuel for its size.

    GM transmission cooling line

That looks like the one that is supposed work, there are different sizes though. I’ve done a lot of those cooler lines and many times I take a small pick and remove the small retainer clip from the radiator. Them reinstall it once the line is removed. Be careful, the clip is very hard to find if...

    M.f. 1150 and 1155

I have 75 acres that I hobby farm, I have a MF 4243, and 2 283?s but the handiest tractor I have is a MF 235. The smaller tractor is so easy to get into tight spots, turns tight when raking hay and good on fuel. Wouldn?t trade it for anything.

    NH knotter problems solved!

I have a New Holland 315 square baler that has been missing 1 bale out of about 20 for a couple of years now. I have a accumulator which makes it a real pain. Made adjustments per manual several times which has helped but still would miss. Been using Redline twine and noticed some really poor...

    n/h 848 round baler

Haven?t looked at the wiring diagram but you could probably hook up power wires from a 2 way momentary toggle switch to the motor. Have to look for the manual to mine to make sure. Probably would take more power than a switch could handle and would have to have relays in the circuit.
