    WD I bought.

    deff a great buy!!!! Motor has the side plate witch makes it a WD block and trans has striaght shift lever witch makes it a WD...... But it sure could be a WD built in to a WD45... Lots of luck and fun JD..

    Quick WD Question

    Bushhogpapa.......are you saying that you run engine oil (10w-30) in the hydro? I was always told this would foam under the pressure. Sure it would work but, hmmmm. Guess i dont really know. JD

    adjusting valves

    click on engine tab. says .012 hot for both. theres really no patern to do just go down the row so you dont miss one. I would say .012 is fine for a puller, you cant have them too tight they wont seat. JD tractor data

    How to tell wd45

    Ok, here we go WC- has hand brakes and a long shift lever with a button for reverse WD- has a striaght up and down shift lever (all but the 1953's) some pepole bent them to reach easyer. also shifter has threaded end with hard grip.     re: Points Gap size

    not positive on yours but most points are set to .020 on the open setting and should go closed. Some guys use the lid off a match book to set them. JD

    So I called the junk yard, need to for myself anyways. They said with no rubber or fuilds 1.87 per lb. THERES NO WAY THATS RIGHT!!!! You will have to check your closest junk yard. At 1.87 it would be worth $37,400 [I dont think so]. If this guys is really your friend he should be fair to you...

    Not sure if the link will work but it says the HD-10 prior to S#.5574 weight was 20,960 lbs and the HD-10w weight is 21,630lbs either way its a 10 ton dozer.. JD HD 10 info
