    JF CM165 MOWER

Hey Jim I had a proper look and found the bolt/s. In a cavity under the plate. Took a bit to loosen them. All that for about a 1 inch height adjstment. I was hoping to get a lttle more out of it.

    JF CM165 MOWER

Being a bit of a rookie, I foolishly imagined the bolt would be accessible via the gap between the drum using a long socket extension. I'm pretty sure it is bolted from underneath with 4 bolts. I will unbolt these in the next few days and have a proper look.

    JF CM165 MOWER

I need some advice on height adjustment options for one of these. Hoping it is really a copy of some of the other 165 brands It is clearly marked as a JF CM165 (See Pics). I found the applicable manual, which indicates there is an adjustment bolt. I cannot find it !. Any suggestions ? Even if...

    Massey MF50D - Electrical Fire

This part got a bit hot when starting, and I had not realised some brake fluid had leaked onto it. Burnt this and melted a number of wires back to the main cables. Besides referring to the standard electrical diagrams which are a bit hard to follow, any suggestions on what i've cooked here. The...

MF50 industrial Forward / Reverse Issue

Thanks Jim, I misunderstood. I had read about the clutch pack possibly being an issue. This query was just a hopeful attempt it could be something else then a major job. If its the clutch pack but still operable with a lot less power, can I still use it without breaking anything else ? Forgot...

MF50 industrial Forward / Reverse Issue

Purchased a MF50D backhoe / loader and when driving there is a significant difference in Forward Speed vs Reverse. Lacking power in Forward. I have read it could be a torque converter or clutch issue. Is there any other possilities that doesnt involve a repair major job. Pic of Forward Rev Pedal...

    McCormick-Deering Super AWD-6

Thanks . I will go an have a look for the tank, I thought there should have been one their. Just on the engine oil fill, I thought the fill would be nearer the filter on these. It threw me that the hydraulic pump was bolted on next to what quite rightly looks like the engine fill. See PIC...

    McCormick-Deering Super AWD-6

Hi. I'm a bit confused. Neighbour has asked for advice with hydraulic issues. I know very little about this old beast. To make sure there is enough oil where do I check. I can see what I think is the fill cap. Is it top up until you can see the level ?

    New Holland 450 Sickle Mower

Sorry . I missed this response. Thanks. I ended up buying the 450 in working order (with a lot of work). Regarding the other one. The guy chucked in a 453 missing the wobble box arms that were apparently used to keep the 450 going. So i guess these fit. Still chasing parts to have a spare just...

    New Holland 450 Sickle Mower

These are pics he sent. It appears the one marked 453 has the plastic PTO cover and the 450 is the steel. Sorry that there are no pics from the other side.

    New Holland 450 Sickle Mower

Hi Again Guys. I have a guy wanting to sell me what is an A450 here, which I think is a match for mine (mine has no serial but 450 painted on it) . Hes also got an A453 as well. Would it potentially be the same improvement in upgrading the wobble assembly from this one ?. The Bar's on both look...
