8n ford will not start
50 model 8N side distributor will not start. Have changed the following items: valve job last summer, new wiring, new distributor, new carburetor, new coil, new points, condensor, rotor cap, plugs checked good and in correct firing order, checked compression #1 80, #2 80, #3 80, #4 87...- glyn

valves
when I install new valves in my 50 model 8n s/n 338313, the keepers fall out on my intake valves not the exhasut. these are rotating valves, a up grade. why- glyn

want run without full choke
irst of all thanks for all the replys.#1 its a 50 model 8n tractor.sorry I didn't let you know.next I did overhaul it, but not a very good job. I will do it again. next I replaced the sediment bowl assy. checked all three fitlters clean. pulled the plug bottom of carb before overhaul, just...- glyn
