    We use 15-w40 diesel engine oil in all our Farmalls. $15 a gallon at Walmart or Napa. I personally wouldn't fool with the oil pump based on the oil pressure information you provided. "If it ain't broke......".

    We have replaced dozens of head gaskets on offset Farmalls. We use Felpro gaskets and copper coat spray both sides,let it tack up a couple minutes and install. We always, always run it up to temperature and retorque the head bolts. Valve train has to come back off but that's not a big deal. We...

    That big spring has probably never been swapped out....it's $10. If your tractor bogs down going up hill or the motor revs way up going down hill you need a new spring. Your other issues are adjustments on the rod going to the carb.

    The Cub has so few hp that every little thing affects it. Timing, valves,tune up parts..... We have used this Amazon carb on A ,B ,C ,super A. Works great,if your tractor is properly tuned

    What tractor? We have used $30-35 Amazon carbs on Cubs,A,B,C ,super A.....with great results. But .....we make sure everything else is right on the tractor,too. 90% of "carb issues" , ain't carb issues. The carb is a small part of a great running tractor. What issues are you having?

    IH cub magneto

    "Mowing and it died" .......my '45 A ,with a magneto started doing that, driving around fine and died like I cut the switch off. Several hours later it would fire up and run again. Replaced the coil, problem solved. If you replaced your points,you will need to vigorously clean the new ones...
