    A friend bought this in Louisiana, hauled it back to Alabama and finally dropped it off here. Worst stuck motor we have seen. But new sleeves, pistons, rings,o rings and it's alive and well. Wife and I had about 40 hours total in it. Runs great now. Amazing how much compression you have...

    Farmall super A starting problem

    Sounds strange but a condenser that's going bad can produce enough juice to make the plugs spark but not enough to run the tractor. Try a different condenser. Worst case it doesn't help 😞

    WOW. My wife and I can tear a head down, clean it ,lap valves and reassemble in a couple hours. We have only worked on 2 heads that were too badly pitted for us to run. Even our valve cutter wouldn't clean it up, too much corroded away 😔. Having a partner that you work good with makes...

    Look at my pictures.......posted above. If your distributor is off the tractor and you can push the governor forward then you need to remove the governor cover and free up that spring. .
