    The 14mm hex shaft that goes thru part#37 towards the gearbox. Its the shorter of the two hex shafts.

    I have a Vermeer 7040 disc cutter and I can figure out how to get the short shaft out of the gearbox. I have removed 2 snap rings on the side of the gearbox facing away from cutter bar. What am I missing to remove this short shaft?

    Did you rebuild the picker bar? I have a weird request do you or anyone on here have old picker spindles or spikes as I call them?     Ford 5000

    I have this Ford 5000 I recently purchased and I'm trying to figure out what this lever is suppose to operate. The one behind it is the PTO lever. This lever is on the left side by your left foot. It doesn't seem to operate anything. Any help would be appreciated.
