    John Deere 870 Compact

I have an 870 with FWA, turf tires and an 80 loader which I bought used about 25 years ago (actually wife claims it as her tractor). Been pretty much a trouble free tractor and even handles the loader fairly well if you dont over do it. Starts great in cold weather and is just handy as heck. Did...

    Battery cable part number

If you do not have a local battery shop find a local truck (tandem, semi, etc) repair shop. They often make their own cables with the soldered terminals and quality cable.

    Hyd filter light flashing

Case 580 super E has the hyd filter light flashing. Is this something normally resolved by new filter and hyd oil change or a sign of other issues. This backhoe just gets occasional farm use.

    CLAMP ON PALLET FORKS

I bought clamp on forks to use on my deere 870 from Titan a couple years ago. They have a 4000 lb rating and cost about $160 if I remember correctaly They do a good job as long as you dont overload them. Use them for small tree limbs and brush mostly.

Not sure I understand your problem clearly but I remember having trouble with my 4010 lift arms after removing the rockshaft. Turns out the gear timing got out of time in the control valve housing. I removed the housing and retimed the gears and that solved my problem. You have to make SURE the...
