I tried for a couple of months to find the original bearing. Called Ford "industrial tractor specialists" all over. Talked to engineers at bearing supply dealers. Was told, the last time that bearing was manufactured was in the late 70's in Germany and there is no replacement for it. -

I did the same job on my 335 with the 6 spd trans. The bearing was impossible to find. Maybe yours in a 3500 is different. I eventually had to use a different bearing and get an outer race machined. Its been a few years and is still running, -

Front tractor tires
I had same problem with 7.50-16 ordered from Amazon. much smaller in width and diameter. Ordered another set from Pete's tire barn. BKT's. They are same size as older tires on my 5000's. And I mounted tubeless with no problems. I've also ordered from Miller tire in the past and been pleased. -

3400 Parts Tractor
3400's also had differences in the ring and pinion and pinion support bearing. Learned from my 3400 TLB with an 8 spd. They also have cast oil pans. -

As long as the drain hole in the bottom is open, neither a leak from front trans seal nor real main engine seal is gonna stop that tractor. I've seen them run wet around the drain holes for years. Thats why the drain hole is there. In fact, I can probably go to the shelters right now and wipe... -
