    With the same engine, it's strange that they wouldn't have the same filter. We're they updated through the years, as in a 430, 530 and 630 of the same model year would have the same filter?

    Ok, so the oil pressure ranges are different between gas and diesel then. I have a potential donor tractor with a good gauge, just wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks John

    188d fuel filter

    New to me 631, engine has yellow paint peeking out from under the orange so it's likely not original. Whoever did the work decided to simplify the fuel filter setup. Runs like a top, but I'm guessing the water separation will be... subpar. My question is, should I try to find an original fuel...

    Can a stewart-warner gauge cluster from a gas tractor be used on a diesel that has the autolite cluster? Parts book shows them having different part numbers, but it's not much help beyond that.

    I am restoring my 630 and unfortunately the engine is beyond saving. Looking for a complete diesel engine, prefer good running but anything will be considered. Closer to E iowa the better. This post was edited by Helmsman on 06/15/2022 at 07:53 am.

    They definately caught my eye, there were several plows on the auction and i bought this one specifically for the harrows. A little TLC and a few parts and hopefully itll be back in action.

    Just got a 14a 2 bottom plow for my T0-30 home, and it has a harrow mounted behind each moldboard. Ive never seen one like it before, is it a Ferguson harrow or something aftermarket? Any idea on the age of the plow? Serial number is 27911. Tag says Ferguson-Sherman.

    I'm in the process of restoring my 641, and I'm going to rebuild the engine. Who sells a good quality overhaul kit for these gas motors? I just need standard size bearings, and I'm gonna put new sleeves, rings, wrist pins, etc. Google shows me lots of kits for the diesel. Not having much luck...
