    450 head gasket?

    Best source for a valve grind head gasket set for a 450? The ones available here ok? Don’t want to be doing it again. 282s have me fussy as it’s about impossible to get a good one for them anymore. Interesting they used 16 head bolts on this and just 14 on the diesel with 2 extra cylinders...

    M&W piston rings?

    It has a 450 gas head and 6” stroker. It is just an M block I had bored out 30 years ago to accept the super sleeves. I don’t think I can safely bore it anymore without hard blocking it. I should’ve pulled the sleeves and put 4.25 pistons in it then while they still could be found.

    I should’ve elaborated a little further. I was thinking about getting a propane head for it and decided to do a compression test and found 1 cylinder 50 lbs short it’s my pulling toy. Comp test was 200,150,190,190. No noticeable skip or anything though.

    Anyone know where to find a set for 4 1/8” Pistons? Are they the same as firecrater or another aftermarket set. Got a weak cylinder and I guess it’s time after 25 years. Thanks

    Decent muffler?

    Would like a round body like was on it originally with a baffled body so it’s QUIET! The type I want used to be available most anywhere. I detest the Stanley ones sold by tsc. I’m not sure the ones sold here are any different.

    What I believe is the main pressure hose with the odd fitting on one end and oring fitting sprung a leak. Where to get one ?

    can't prime 684 IH

    The crossover line is probably plugged. When you look in the fill port it appears to have fuel when in reality it’s empty on the other side you can’t see. Easiest solution is to just keep fuel in it.

    Have a buddy with a 190xt that don’t run. We determined today the injection pump isn’t turning. Probably means pump is junk? No core value? It hasn’t been run much since his dad died a few years ago. Doesn’t have any sentimental value Trying to decide what to do with it. Sell for salvage and...
