    I have a JD 630 that will start and run for about 1-2 minutes, then will sputter and die. After about a minute it will start right back up and repeat the same. Opening the carb drain indicates there is ample gas in the carb. Any ideas will be appreciated!!!

    Is there any way to repair a small hole along the seam in a brass carburetor float without soldering? I know JB Weld nor Devcon do not hold up well in gasoline, but what about one of the gas tank sealers that are not affected by alcohol such as Gold Seal?

    Hard starting JD 185

    Have a JD 185, single cylinder Kawasaki. Very hard starting when cold (cranks and cranks), but will start and run instantly with starting fluid sprayed in the air cleaner. Starts fine after running. Can someone give me a starting point??
