    The tractor had been sitting for three years prior to me buying it. With a new battery it started right up and runs good. The gauge read between 10 and 15 percent at that time. When I got it home I always noticed a faint propane smell. With soapy water I found the leak at the gauge and over time...

    There is a small (1/4?) ball valve on the back of the tank near the gauge. If I open it there is pressure. The gauge reads next to zero. Can I pull the tractor outside and open the valve until all pressure is released?

    Thanks for all the responses today. I ended up finding a little time to look at the 560 this afternoon. Soapy water revealed a leak at the gauge but nowhere else. I'm assuming that there's an o-ring there? If so is it available from IH? Thanks again for the help. I'm sure I'll have more questions.
