    using deep fryer oil

    i know that it is possiable to use fryer oil in your diesel tractor after you have removed the glycerin and solids from the oil. just wondering if anybody has tried using fryer oil in their gun type oil furnace. any ideas? plenty of time to fiddle as i am retired and just about broke for buying...

    have a 212 john deere with a 38 inch mower deck that needs replacing.i cannot find the model number anyplace on the deck.any ideas where to find model # or a used deck the same size ? any info on this size deck that fits the 212 would be much appreciated.PS checked with jd and i get a blank...
