    870 has the wrong cab I think.

    i have the 35th 70 series built.it was shipped to bong air force base for the case intro '70' show in aug.1969.it is a 970 with factory cab with air cond.just as is stated on the build sheet.it has the early cab made by hinson with the hinson serial#2045 tag just inside the cab on the underside...

    nice photos;that 1200 is a very early racine built one with the 823 prefix like used on all racine built 30 series tractors. the very first 1200 built was #8229476 built on march 23,1964. my 1200 was the 92nd one built and it is #8230051. they used the same block of numbers as the other tractors...

    central illinois;801 designates a 800 diesel. the 819 prefix of the serial # designates a 1962 730 or 830.you don't see many of these in lp here in illinois.ind.38

    Final Verdict - 30 series heads on 00 series

    JEFF; none of the 30 series heads will fit on a 00 series.there is 1 more bolt on a 30 series and they are spaced differently. they wont fit for sure. hope this helps. ind 38
