    I have a 1948 ford 8n and I'm doing a complete restoration for a friend and he wanted a 12v conversion done to it. does anyone have a wiring diagram better than what came with the kit? thanks in advance

    thank you all for the help, the front bumper on my 1948 ford 8n front mount is starting to crack near the bolt hole. would welding be a good idea or is there a better solution. thank you all for the help.

    I have a 1949 8n, front mount, 6volt, the battery was bought this year but it will not hold a charge. I have tried to "polarize" it. Any ideas?

    I have a 49 8n front mount 6v. If you mow or work it for a long time then shut it off and come back to start it the battery is dead. I don't leave anything on. Thanks for any help

    I do have one but what should I be looking for? A friend told me to run a wire from the battery to the coil to see if it was the wiring but that wasn't it. But the reason I put the new wiring harness on was the old one had several breaks in it. Was this a good thing?

    I have a 1948 8n 6v no conversions, It started out as it just died while driving it. It had no spark so I put in a new wiring harness, spark plugs, spark plug wires new points, condenser, and new breaker plate. Any ideas are helpful. Someone told me it could be the coil?
